Epidemic Sound is a global music-tech company founded in 2009 by five Swedish entrepreneurs on a mission to soundtrack the world by enabling music to flow freely and fairly. Today, Epidemic Sound has over 300 employees spread across offices in New York, Los Angeles, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Seoul, Sydney, New Zealand and with its headquarters in Stockholm. Epidemic Sound In-store Music provides high-quality tracks, specifically produced to perfectly fit as background music. We have a rich and diverse library with over 11,500 tracks with new ones added each quarter. Our library includes a variety of genres and moods to cater to all our customers and their needs, no matter who they are. From cozy cafés and vibrant restaurants to energetic gyms and relaxing spas; with our music, any space can be soundtracked.Countless customers rely on our tracks to set the tone for their business. Today, our music is heard through leading businesses such as River Island, SAS, Google, McDonald’s, PizzaHut, Subway, Coop, 7Eleven, and many more. Epidemic Sound In-store Music makes it possible to create the perfect vibe without having to worry about the legal formalities.Our model is as simple as it’s solid. By owning all rights to every track in our library, we can offer a direct license that provides full coverage, including public performance rights. We provide a safe solution for our customers so they never have to worry about the rights; we’ve got them covered.

The music in our library is professionally composed, authentic, and unique. Our team of music professionals works closely with each music creator from the first demo to the final mix to make sure they achieve the best version of their music's original creative intent. We supply guidance on what kind of music suits our customers’ and listeners’ needs, and each music creator defines the feel, character, and detail of their tracks.To acquire the soundtracks that make it into our library, we pay competitive up-front rates and split the streaming revenues with our music creators 50/50. We offer short, flexible, and non-exclusive agreements to all our music creators. Our music creators generally stay with us for a long time, but they are always free to leave. With several hundred million streams every month on music streaming platforms and 1.5 billion daily views on YouTube – our music speaks for itself. Regardless of platform, our music is played in headphones, cars, restaurants, and nightclubs all around the world, 24/7.
